Art is fun and thought-provoking. When Edward Shiriku came to Nairobi from upcountry, he was hopeful that he would secure a job as he had heard from his friends. However, after failing to secure a job, he decided to take a step and join an arts program he had in the church and started doing arts and painting since then started Kizito Art Creation thereafter.
Edward’s Arts are mainly inspired by nature and African Culture. He also looks at how he can use paintingings to pass various messages and give meaning to life. Kizito Arts Creations now also trains youth interested in Art and Painting so as to empower them and enable them to earn a living.
In this episode of The Visionary Podcast, Edwards talks more about his journey as an artist, how he deals with challenges in his field and what he has learnt so far and shares great advice for other entrepreneurs, youth and artists.
